I went in with the most positive attitude i could, considering i have never been a huge fan of his work. It always seemed to be part of the snapshot aesthetic that i just cant relate to. But we met and i think he is Fantastic!!! I am still apprehensive about a lot of his pictures. We are like complete opposites. Tracy describe my pictures as "all having the same moody blah" I am pretty sure she meant that as a compliment. But either way i think she is a pretty Brillant photographer. The first thing he said on recognition of my camera was “Do you want me to wear something?” It seems to be a common response from people when I go into a shoot. I take a few frames and then wait for the interaction to be less about photography and more about relating. I guess I see my photographs as natural interaction between myself and the people I am attracted to; whether it is physically or mentally. This pressure to define different aspects of my work has been really frustrating.
